View the Final 2022 Annual Churchman's Crossing Monitoring Report
The 2022 Annual Churchman’s Crossing Monitoring Report provides a summary of transportation and land use conditions and changes in the Churchman’s Crossing project area, including how the recommendations of the 2022 Churchman’s Crossing Plan Update are being implemented.
This report uses an interactive online format that allows users to explore and understand the data in greater detail than would be possible with a static, printed report. The report will be a “living document” that evolves over time, as conditions change. The online format provides an interactive way to monitor and compare conditions over time as a monitoring report is developed each subsequent year.

Overview of the Churchman's Crossing Monitoring Committee
The Churchman’s Crossing Monitoring Committee (CCMC) was formed in 2022 to guide and fulfill the recommendations of the 2022 Churchman’s Crossing Plan Update. This work is being accomplished through a collaborative dialogue between the CCMC members, who represent a cross-section of stakeholders, including implementing agencies, elected officials, local civic and community leaders, business interests, and advocacy groups.
Since the establishment of the CCMC in Fall 2022, the Committee has met three (3) times and held a Public Workshop to review the Draft 2022 Annual Churchman’s Crossing Monitoring Report. All meeting materials and recordings can be found on our website here.

April 19, 2023 Public Workshop
The Project Partners and the CCMC are committed to meeting with the public once a year to gain input and feedback. The Project Partners held the first annual CCMC Public Workshop on April 19, 2023. The workshop featured a hybrid format, with an in-person option at the DelDOT Canal District Building, and an online option via Zoom. The informational display boards that were presented at the Public Workshop can be viewed here. Two comments were received at and following the Public Workshop and can be found in the 2022 Annual Churchman’s Crossing Monitoring Report.

Over the past few months, the Committee has worked on establishing initial priorities of the transportation improvement projects recommended in the 2022 Churchman’s Crossing Plan Update. The Project Partners, WILMAPCO, DelDOT, Delaware Transit Corporation (DTC), and the New Castle County Department of Land Use (NCC DLU), will utilize this input in future decisions on the timing of funding for planning, design, and construction of these projects. The results of the Committee’s prioritization can be found below. For more information about the Committee’s work on prioritization, view the March 22nd and May 24th meeting presentations and recordings, found on our website here.
